Who am I?
My name is Yitzhak Sternberg, a certified tour guide. I am from Haifa but I have a great love for Paris, my hometown where I lived until I was twenty. Therefore, I know Paris well, both as a former Parisian and as a tour guide.
On my many visits to Paris, I guide on unique routes that I have prepared. My routes pass through the famous sites of Paris but also off the main paths.
The tours I offer are tailored to any tourist curious about Jewish heritage of Paris, and can also be easily adapted for jewish religious observant people (shomre mitzvot).
On my tours you can discover Paris in all its glory: art, architecture, dynamics... but first and foremost the fascinating history hidden in the stones of the city with a touch of the history of the Jews of Paris and events linking Paris and the Land of Israel that are not so well known to the general public.

Yitzhak was an amazing and captivating guide for me and my two teenage daughters in Paris. He was so friendly, extremely knowledgeable and interesting and took us places no other tour guide could. He showed us the Jewish history of Paris and made it very relevant and exciting - we loved learning about all the famous spots in Paris through the Jewish lens- it was so informative and cool and we really connected to our roots. J'ai participé à la visite guidée d'Itzhak sur l'ile de la cite et le quartier latin.
Bien que je connaissais déjà ce quartier, Itzhak m'a fait découvrir un tas de choses et d'endroits dont j'ignorais l'existence.
En plus de ses très grandes connaissances historiques du Judaïsme médiéval et Parisien ainsi que de l'histoire de France, Itzhak est très sympathique... et on ne voit pas le temps passer avec lui! je le conseille très fortement comme guide à Paris, particulièrement pour tout ce qui concerne le judaïsme parisien.
