Tour 4 : Following the Philanthropic Jewish Aristocrats in the Eighth Arrondissement of Paris

On this tour we will visit Parc Monceau, one of the most beautiful in Paris. We will tell about aristocratic families, mostly Jewish, who rose high on the social ladder of France in the nineteenth century, and became philanthropists.

We will pass through palaces they built, ending at Vendome Square, which has exemplary classical French architecture.

On this tour, you will discover the fascinating story of aristocratic Jewish families in Paris from the nineteenth century to the present day. You will also discover that some of these Jews were among the key players in shaping Paris as it is today, with a few of them also being central figures in the Zionist enterprise.

The length of the route is approximately 5.5 km,
